Shoppers Decide Fast, On A Small Screen
Ratings and review counts appear right alongside your name in Google Maps and local search results, before anyone has visited your website or walked through your door. A shop with 80 recent reviews looks established and low-risk next to one with 4, even at the same star rating — and businesses below roughly four stars are often ruled out before the details are read.
The Walk-In Gap
Retail has a built-in problem: customers pay at the till and leave. The moment when they're most pleased passes in seconds, and nobody asks them for a review. The people who post unprompted tend to be the ones who feel strongly — often after a bad experience — so a shop's rating can end up telling a harsher story than the hundreds of happy, silent customers behind it.
How Automated Review Requests Work For Retailers
We set up a done-for-you system that asks every customer shortly after they buy, with no new software for you to learn:
- Connected to your till or CRM — we link to your POS or CRM so new customers flow in automatically (a spreadsheet works to get started)
- Sent while the visit is fresh — a personal message in your name after purchase or delivery
- Easy for the customer — an SMS or email with a direct link to your Google review form, plus a single gentle reminder
- WhatsApp if your customers prefer it — available as a WhatsApp Business automation add-on
- Fair to every customer — we ask everyone and never filter out the unhappy ones, which keeps you on the right side of Google's rules
Most businesses see their first new reviews within days of launch, though results depend on how many customers share a phone number or email at purchase.
Make The Busy Seasons Count
Retail footfall typically peaks around occasions like Ramadan, White Friday and the Dubai Shopping Festival. An always-on system captures reviews from that surge in customers far better than staff remembering to ask, and it keeps your profile looking fresh afterwards — recency is a signal customers and Google both notice.
Turn Your Existing Customer List Into Reviews
If you already hold customer details from past sales, our optional Catch-Up Campaign is a safe, paced way to ask them for the reviews you should already have. See Services & Pricing for the details, and read how reviews feed your visibility in Google Maps.
We work with businesses right across the city, from Marina and Business Bay to Deira and Al Quoz — see our Google review service in Dubai for the areas we cover.
Common Questions
Is asking customers for reviews allowed?
Yes. Google encourages businesses to ask. What isn't allowed is paying or rewarding people for reviews, or only asking customers you expect to be positive — we do neither.
What about tourists and one-time shoppers?
Anyone who shares a phone number or email at purchase can be asked. How many of your customers that covers depends on what you already collect — we'll show you during onboarding.
Do I need to change my POS or learn new software?
No. We connect to your existing systems on the backend and run the system for you.
Is there a long contract?
No. The monthly service is rolling and can be cancelled at any time with 30 days' notice.
